Welcome Home Recovery Visit

Your postpartum recovery visit takes place within the first 48 hours at home so you have support when you most need it. I can help with postpartum comfort, healing and nourishment as well as provide basic breastfeeding and newborn care guidance if needed. This visit also provides a great chance to focus on moms rest and relaxation, or for both parents to catch a nap. One prenatal phone planning session is included to discuss your needs. This is one 4-hour visit, and is a great option if you do not need regular doula care. A copy of my Postpartum 101 book is included.

Fresh 24 Recovery visit

The First 24 Recovery Visit takes place within the first (approximately) 24 hours after birth, either at the hospital or your home. This visit is focused on moms comfort, recovery and wellbeing after birth. During this visit, I will bring you post-birth nourishment that may include soup, broth, tea and/or a treat. We may chat about your birth, spend time on your comfort and relaxation, and initiate breastfeeding. This may also be a great time for mom to get the first post-birth shower. One prenatal phone planning session is included to discuss your needs. This is one visit up to 2-hours long, and is a great option whether you plan to have regular doula care or not. A copy of my Postpartum 101 book is included.
